In this increasingly fast-paced world, there isn’t always time in your schedule to fit everything that you want to do into one day. Unfortunately, exercise is frequently one of the first things to go when the schedule gets a little too tight. Here’s how to exercise in your car to make the most of your time.
The easiest exercises to do in the car are grip strengthening exercises. Grip strengtheners are widely available, portable, and relatively inexpensive. Spend half of your drive with each hand on your commute, and you will start to notice a difference.
Another simple exercise to do in the car is bicep curls. Although you may not be able to get enough weight in the car to build significant muscle, you can tone your muscles a bit with curls on your commute.
If the core is more your thing, there is a simple leg lift exercise that you can do while driving. Simply push down on the floor of your vehicle with your feet and lift your hips off of your seat.
While these exercises aren’t going to get you to bodybuilder status, they are much better than completely skipping exercise everyday, especially for those that sit at a desk.
