Truck lovers, rejoice — there are three all-new Chevy Silverados coming your way in the next 18 months. Chevrolet recently announced that it will be revealing the next-generation 2020 Silverado HD, which will join the 2019 Silverado 1500 and 2019 Silverado 4500/5500/6500 HD models as the third all-new truck in this lineup.
Designed specifically for heavy-duty truck customers, the 2020 Silverado HD is expected to offer more durability and validation standards. It will be bolder and larger proportioned, making it more capable than ever before. On-road testing for this model is expected to begin soon, and it will begin to roll off the assembly lines in Flint, Michigan starting in the third quarter of 2019.
This model is joining the 2019 Silverado 1500, which was introduced earlier this year. The new Silverado 1500 weighs less than last year’s model, while still building on Chevrolet’s legacy of dependable, long-lasting pickup trucks. It will have several trims to choose from and a variety of engine options, making it easy to create the pickup of your dreams.
The 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD chassis-cab models were also introduced earlier this year and are scheduled to go on sale in late 2018. These models are considered the first-ever Silverado medium-duty trucks designed specifically for commercial customers.
We at Crumback Chevrolet are excited to welcome three new models into the Silverado legacy. Until the new ones arrive, you can always test drive our current lineup of heavy-duty trucks.
